“Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die tomorrow.” ~James Dean~
Akin to “Why put off doing until tomorrow what you can do today,” this quote has stuck with me since reading it. Dream big, but take the steps necessary to reach your dreams. Make big plans and make each day count.
As it relates to my personal life, I try to live each day to the fullest. Not carrying a grudge into the next day, sending a message to a loved one when it crosses my mind, rather than putting it off until later and not looking at a pile of laundry and saying “I’ll get to that later.” In most cases, the laundry will sit there for longer than necessary and in some cases, something better will come up (i.e. more fun!), and then I find myself upset that I just didn’t do the laundry when I had originally planned. In my professional life, I find that doing it that day alleviates stress and avoids having tasks fall through the cracks, which means I can cross things off of my list and move onto other assignments.
So,my question to you, what are your dreams? What is it that you have always wanted to do, but don’t seem to have the time? Make it a priority! Secondly, what is on your list that you can tackle today, rather than put off until tomorrow? Who is on your call list?
I can’t believe that tomorrow is the first day of March, but since today is here, enjoy this last day of February to it’s fullest!
